Journey in Colorado announces upcoming annual motivational and educational event, Journey Forward into 2020!

Journey Payroll & HR, a full-service payroll and tax management company, is announcing their upcoming annual motivational and educational event, Journey Forward into 2020. The event will take place on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at the Embassy Suites in Loveland, CO. Those invited to the event include Journey clients, businesses interested in becoming Journey clients, the accounting community, and business leaders partnering with Journey.

Journey works hard to be the change that many businesses long to see in the payroll industry. With that in mind, Journey Forward into 2020 promises some informational and uplifting discussions at the event. While you will hear from Journey Payroll & HR CEO, Kevin Welch and President, Ashlee Faulkner, on Journey updates and new features, the focus of the event will be on the guests of honor, who will be speaking at the event.

Speakers include:

• Laurie Macomber, owner of Blue Skies Marketing. Laurie is a veteran speaker for Journey events and has imparted her knowledge to many, working with companies as large as Facebook, and as small as the local mom-and-pop shop. Laurie will explain how you can make your website convert visitors into paying customers in 2020!
• Devin Barnhart, Colorado firefighter and speaker for Purpose after Peril. Devin was just a young man when a fire broke out in his friend’s home. Upon reentering the house to try to save his friends who were inside, Devin himself was severely burned and left with physical and emotional scars that would impact his life from that point on. Devin believes that life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. Devin made it his life’s goal to commit that philosophy to helping others and honoring the memory of the friends whose lives were lost in the fire. Devin will share his story and discuss how individuals are responsible for deciding their own futures.
• Dan Muffly,shareholder practicing employment law, business law, and general litigation for Gast, Johnson, & Muffly, is also a veteran speaker for Journey events. Dan has spoken at the Journey event every year for the past seven years. He will provide real-life scenarios pertaining to new, amended, and upcoming laws.
• Ryan Harris, Super Bowl champion with the Denver Broncos, broadcaster, author, and speaker. Although a 10-year NFL veteran, Ryan is so much more than a professional athlete. He believes in an individual’s right to be extraordinary and through that right, creating positive change. Ryan will deliver a pep talk, as only can be delivered by Super Bowl-winning Denver Bronco.

Clients who attend the event will also learn about new Journey offerings, including veteran and loyalty discounts. Additionally, select free services will be offered to clients who attend the event.
